2012 Captains Named

This past fall, head coach Michelle Mason named Seniors Casey Scully, Kelsey Sickles, and Amber Zimmerlink to be the 2012 Spring Captains.

The two defenders (Zimmerlink and Sickles) and the midfielder (Scully) were picked by their teammates because they were the ones who best displayed what it meant to be a hard-working student-athlete. Coach Mason added to the number of compliments by agreeing that, "Amber, Scully, and Sickles are a major factor as to why the gaels have made such strides over the past 3 years and their experiences for what lies ahead for this program will be the driving force that carries us to a successful future."

All three girls come back after being starters last year (while Sickles and Scully add another year of captainship under their belts).

With their leadership, the Gaels will take on the Uconn Huskies February 18 at 1 p.m. at Uconn. The lady gaels are getting ready to go, already tweeting their little hearts out. Freshman Midfielder, Meghan Testoni, recently tweeted "uconn in a few weeks! Get some gaels!!!!!!!!#leeego"
